This includes the K-System (KFD) or the space-saving H-System (HIC) barriers and then respective termination boards that provide the densest solution in the market when space for intrinsic safety barriers is a critical issue.
Pepperl+Fuchs offers a customized H-System isolated barrier (HIC) platform for the Schneider Electric Triconex Safety System—Tricon TMR. H-System (HIC) or K-System (KFD) isolated barrier platforms with customized termination boards connect via a system cable to the respective TRICON I/O card. All solutions are fully tested and listed in the Technical Application Note 48 (TAN48).

HART interface solutions from Pepperl+Fuchs consist of two HART multiplexer systems for multiple signal loops and a HART loop converter for single loop applications. The multiplexer is used to connect HART field devices to the DCS or SIS. At the heart of HART interface solution (HIS), the HART Multiplexer acts like a gateway device, routing communications between the maintenance workstation PC and the HART field devices.
