Pepperl+Fuchs' high-power trunk (HPT) solution for FOUNDATION Fieldbus is the most compact fieldbus power supply solution that interfaces with Schneider Electric’s Foxboro I/A Series System. The FieldConnex® compact fieldbus power hub motherboard for Foxboro FBM228 is a modular fieldbus power supply for up to 8 simplex or 8 redundant segments.
Two solutions are offered: the FBTA-228-BPFB-R-8R solution is the most compact, combining motherboard and wiring interface for the fieldbus power supply modules for the redundant FBM228 on one baseplate solution.
As a standalone solution, the FieldConnex power hub system MBHC-FB-8R.HSC* combines motherboard and wiring interface for the fieldbus power supply modules to connect to the Foxboro FBM228 via a system cable (ACC-MB-HGC.FOX…) in lengths from 1 m to 20 m. This power hub is offered in a left and right hand configuration to optimize cabinet space.
Sockets for all modules enable simple installation and replacement without tools. For power redundancy with seamless transfer, pairs of modules feed each segment.
